SSC CHSL Apply Online 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the SSC CHSL Exam 2023 for the recruitment of eligible candidates for various posts in different departments. As per the official notification released on 9th May 2023, the online application process for SSC CHSL Exam 2023 has started and interested candidates can apply online before the last date, i.e., 8th June 2023. The examination is scheduled to be conducted from 2nd August 2023 onwards. Documents Required Before SSC CHSL Apply Online 2023

The following documents are required before applying for SSC CHSL 2023:

1. Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Any other valid ID proof
2. Scanned passport size photograph
3. Scanned signature
4. Educational qualification certificates
5. Caste certificate (if applicable)
6. Disability certificate (if applicable)
7. Ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable)
8. Income certificate for EWS category candidates (if applicable)

SSC CHSL Apply Online 2023 Steps

To apply for SSC CHSL 2023, candidates can follow the steps given below:

1. Visit the official website of SSC Headquarter i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.
2. Click on the “Apply” button given on the homepage.
3. In the new window, click on the “CHSL” tab.
4. Read the instructions carefully and click on the “Proceed” button.
5. If you have already registered on the website, then click on the “Login” button. Otherwise, click on the “New User? Register Now” button.
6. Fill in the required details and complete the One-time Registration process.
7. Once you have completed the registration, log in using your registered email id and password.
8. Fill in the online application form with the required details such as personal information, educational qualification, etc.
9. Upload your recent passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB) and ensure that the photograph is not more than three months old from the date of publication of notice of the examination. The photograph should be without cap and spectacles, and the frontal view of the face should be clearly visible.
10. Preview your application form to ensure that all the details provided are correct. If there are any mistakes, you can make corrections during the “Window for Application Form Correction” period.
11. Pay the application fee of Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only) if you are not exempted from fee payment. The fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
12. Once the fee payment is successful, submit your application form and take a printout for future reference.

Note: Candidates are advised to submit their online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to log in to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check through the Preview/ Print option that they have filled correct details in each field of the form.

Important Instructions to Candidates

If you are planning to apply for SSC CHSL 2023, here are some important instructions you should keep in mind:

1. Carefully read the notice of examination in both English and Hindi before applying. In case of any dispute, the English version will prevail.
2. Submit your online application well before the closing date to avoid disconnection, inability, or failure to log in due to heavy website traffic.
3. The Commission will only accept your application provisionally, and detailed scrutiny of applications for eligibility and other aspects will be done later. Therefore, make sure you satisfy the educational qualification, experience, age, physical and medical standards requirements before applying.
4. If you belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD/ EWS/ ESM category, ensure that you are entitled to the reservation benefits and have the required certificates in the prescribed format.
5. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), ESM eligible for reservation, and Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) are exempted from payment of fees. Others need to pay a fee of ₹ 100/-.
6. Only one online application is allowed to be submitted, and if more than one application with different registration numbers is detected, all the applications will be rejected, and your candidature will be canceled.
7. After the closing date, you will have a period of 2 days to correct/modify your online application parameters. The latest modified application will be considered valid.
8. Before submitting the final online application, check that all the details are correctly filled in each field of the form. No changes, corrections, or modifications will be allowed after submission.
9. Ensure that you provide your correct and active e-mail address and mobile number in the online application as correspondence may be made through e-mail/SMS.
10. During the examination, carry two passport size recent color photographs and one original valid Photo ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card/ printout of E-Aadhaar, Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Identity Card issued by University/ College/ Government, Employer ID Card, etc.
