ISRO IPRC Recruitment 2023 Syllabus

Syllabus for the written test for Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’:

Posts with post codes 013, 018, 001, 019, 026, 003, 015, 020, 014, 007, 031, 005, and 027 will be based solely on the academic syllabus of the prescribed educational qualification.

  • The written test will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions and will have a duration of 90 minutes (1.5 hours).
  • For each wrong answer, one-third negative marking will apply, i.e., 0.33 marks will be deducted, and 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • To pass the written test, an applicant must score a minimum of 32 marks out of 80.
  • For Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’ posts, the passing marks for applicants belonging to reserved categories will be 24 marks out of 80, wherever the post is reserved for the respective category.

Syllabus for Written Test for Fireman ‘A’ post [Post Code: 008]:

  1. Basic chemistry with reference to flammable liquids and gases

  3. Relation between Pressure, volume and temperature
  4. Areas of triangle, rectangle and parallelogram

  1. The written test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and will have a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours).

  3. To pass the written test, an applicant must score a minimum of 50% marks.

Details about Written Test For Post Of Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ and Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’ Posts:

  • The Written Test will comprise of 100 Multiple Choice Questions with a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours).
  • One fourth negative marking will apply for each wrong answer.
  • Applicants must secure 50% marks in Part ‘A’ and 50% marks in Part ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ combined for passing the Written Test.
  • Passing marks will be relaxed by 25% for applicants belonging to reserved categories, wherever a post is reserved for the respective category.
  • Total marks obtained in all four parts of the Written Test will be reckoned for shortlisting for Skill Test.

  4. Passing marks for reserved category applicants in Technician B and Draughtsman B posts: 40 out of 100.
  5. Shortlisting for Skill Test in 1:5 ratio with a minimum of 10 applicants for a post.

For Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ post [Post Code: 010] and Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’ post [Post Code: 030]:

  1. Driving Test.
  2. Skill Test purely of qualifying nature.
  3. Applicants must secure 60 marks out of 100 for qualifying.
  4. No relaxation of marks applicable for any category of applicants.
