Essential Qualifications for Special Educator (TGT):

• Graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
• Bachelor of Education Degree (Special Education) recognized by RCI with at least 50% marks and valid registration with RCJ.
• Graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
• Bachelor of Education Degree with Post Graduate Professional Diploma (Special Education) recognized by RCI with at least 50% marks and valid registration with RCI.

Essential Qualifications for Special Educator (JBT):

• Graduation or its equivalent from a recognized University.
• Two years Diploma (Special Education) or its equivalent recognized by RCI with at least 50% marks in aggregate and valid registration with RCI.

ICT Skill Requirement (for both TGT and JBT):

• Candidates must have a Certificate of ICT skill course (Computer Concepts – CCC) for 80 hours from a Govt. recognized institution, a reputed ISO 9001 certified institution, or from the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Govt. of India or from NIELIT and its authorized institutions. This condition must be satisfied before the issuance of the appointment letter.

Chandigarh Special Educator JBT TGT Age Limit 2023

1. Age Limit: The maximum age for candidates is 37 years as of January 1, 2023.
2. Relaxations: SC/OBC/ESM/PWD, and other category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government and Chandigarh Administration guidelines. OBC candidates from the Union Territory of Chandigarh will receive benefits.
3. 1. Test Details: There will be one objective type test.
2. Total Number of Questions: 150
3. Total Marks: 150
4. Time Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
5. Negative marking: -0.25 marks for each wrong answer
6. Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%
7. Bilingual Exam: Questions in English and Hindi, except Language papers, which will be in the concerned Language. Option for Punjabi medium available for candidates during the application process.
