Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
Category I:
Bachelor’s degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6 months duration from a recognized Institute or Bachelors’ Degree.
Category II:
HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent can apply online for these posts.
(For some posts, candidates should be class 12th passed from the science stream.)
Category III:
Passed HSLC or equivalent can apply online for these posts.
Class-VIII:
Minimum Eligibility should be 8th class pass.
Maximum HSSLC (Class-12) or equivalent examination passed.
HSLC:
Minimum- Passed HSLC or equivalent can apply online for these posts.
Maximum- HSSLC (Class-12) or equivalent examination passed.
HSLC with ITI:
Minimum- Passed HSLC or equivalent examination along with ITI pass certificate in the trade of wireman/electrician/fitter/welder/Machinist/Electronics Mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved institute.
Age Limit Details
Age Limit: Candidates’ age should be between 18 years and 40 years as of 1st January 2023.

Steps to Apply for Assam Direct Recruitment 2023
Application Form Availability:
Starting from 10th November, 2023.
Submission Mode:
Candidates must apply using the prescribed online form. No other submission method is allowed.
Instructions:
Instructions for filling out the online form will be available on the SEBA website (www.sebaonline.org) and the official Assam Government website (https://assam.gov.in) from 10th November, 2023.
Mandatory Fields:
Candidates should fill in all fields marked as mandatory in the online application.
Application Submission Window:
Applications will be accepted from 10th November, 2023, until 29th December, 2023.
No Editing/Correction:
Candidates should be cautious when submitting the online application because there will be no opportunity for editing, correction, or resubmission once it’s submitted.
Unique Application Number:
After submitting the online application, each candidate will receive a unique number, which should be used for all future references.
Technical Issues:
Note that the Commission will not take responsibility for any lapses in the submission of online applications due to technical problems.
Admit Cards:
Admit cards for the examination will be available for download from the official SEBA website. The date and time for downloading the admit cards will be notified later.
