Education Qualification

• Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree of three years in Science (B.Sc) with majors in Physics and Mathematics.
• Alternatively, a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any discipline. (Physics and Mathematics should be subjects in at least one semester’s curriculum).

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English at the level of 10+2 standard (English must have been a subject in either the 10th or 12th standard).
• The degree should be from a recognized university or apex institution recognized by the Government of India (e.g., IIT/IIMs/XLRI/TISS, etc.).
• Percentage of marks required is pass marks or equivalent for a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Candidates with B.E./B. Tech/ B. Sc. (Engg.) degrees are eligible to apply when the essential qualification is specified as a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Departmental candidates with recognized degrees meeting the minimum qualification requirements, obtained through part-time, correspondence, or distance education, are also eligible to apply.

• Eligibility Check:

• Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Advertisement. Providing incorrect information will result in disqualification.

• Read Instructions:

• Carefully read all the instructions provided on the main instruction page of the online application.

• Online Application:

• Apply online through the link available on www.aai.aero under the “CAREERS” tab.
• No other means/mode of application submission will be accepted.

• Prepare Documents:

• Before starting the online application, keep the following details/documents ready:
  • Valid personal E-mail ID and Mobile Number (to be kept active during the recruitment process).
  • Scanned copy of a recent passport-size colored photograph (not older than 3 months).
  • Scanned signature in digital format.
  • Relevant documents/details relating to eligibility criteria (Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate, EWS Certificate, Experience Certificate, Disability Certificate, Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen, Apprentice Certificate from AAI, etc.).
  • Details/documents for online payment of the application fee/intimation charges.

• Scanning of Photograph and Signature:

• Ensure that your uploaded photograph and signature meet the specifications below:
  • Photograph: Recent passport size, not older than 3 months, no cap/hat/dark glasses (religious headwear is allowed but must not cover the face), file size between 20kb-50kb, dimensions 200×230 pixels.
  • Signature: Sign on white paper with a black ink pen, file size between 10kb-20kb, dimensions 140×60 pixels (preferred).

• Application Fee and Mode of Payment:

• Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (inclusive of GST) to be paid through ONLINE MODE ONLY. Fee submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.
• SC/ST/PWD candidates/Apprentices who have completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI/Female candidates are exempt from the fee.
• The application form is integrated with the payment gateway, and payment can be completed following the instructions.
• Pay the fee through Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Card on the SBI MOPS payment portal.
• Once payment is completed, you will be automatically redirected to the application portal.
• Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference. There is no need to send the printout to AAI Office.
• Fees once paid will not be refunded, except in the case of duplicate payments, which will be refunded after the application submission closing date.
• For security, please close the browser window after completing your transaction.
