Educational Qualification

• For the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil): the minimum educational qualification is a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University/Board with a minimum of 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• For the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical): the minimum educational qualification is a three-year Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute/University/Board with a minimum of 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or a Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Experience requirement:
• For Junior Engineer (Civil): At least 2 years of experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/or civil maintenance of office buildings/commercial buildings/residential complexes. The experience should include basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, and experience in preparation of tenders for civil works. Alternatively, a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU is also accepted.
• For Junior Engineer (Electrical): At least 2 years of experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/commercial buildings with HT/LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc. Alternatively, a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU is also accepted.

RBI JE Exam Pattern 2023

• Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1/4th (0.25) for each incorrect answer.

Pay Scale for RBI JE Recruitment 2023

• Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of ₹33,900/- per month.
• This starting basic pay includes nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers.
• The pay scale for the posts is ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) – 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700.
• In addition to the basic pay, candidates will also receive other allowances, as admissible from time to time.
• Currently, the initial monthly gross emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) is approximately ₹71,032/-
• If the candidates are not staying in the Bank’s accommodation, they will also receive a House Rent Allowance of 15% of their pay.
