Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years (40 years for Chhattisgarh residents)

Age Relaxation:

• Up to 5 years for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh
• Up to 10 years for local women candidates of Chhattisgarh
• Additional 5 years for CG Government servants

Chhattisgarh High Court Assistant Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

The selection process for Chhattisgarh High Court Assistant consists of two phases:

Phase-I: Written Test

• The written test comprises 50 Multiple Choice Questions, carrying a total of 50 marks.
• It includes two sections: (A) English Knowledge, which assesses skills in forming small sentences, spellings, vocabulary, etc., and (B) Knowledge of Computer Operation.
• There is no negative marking in this phase.
• Based on the marks obtained in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II Skill Test at a ratio of 1:10 in each category.

Phase-II: Skill Test

• The Skill Test is worth a maximum of 100 marks and includes the following components:
• Computer Typing Test in Hindi at a rate of 250 words in 10 minutes.
• Computer Typing Test in English at a rate of 300 words in 10 minutes.
• The Typing Test will be conducted using Ubuntu Linux-Libreoffice-Unicode Font.
• One mark will be deducted for each typing mistake.
• To pass this test, candidates must secure a minimum of 20 marks in each typing test out of the total 50 marks available.

• Scanned copy of a recent passport-size colored photograph, scanned signature, and thumb impression (images should be in jpg or jpeg format, maximum 200 KB each).
• Certificates for 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post Graduation, Computer Certificate, etc.
• Domicile certificate, caste certificate, Divyang certificate, etc. All documents should be in PDF format, with a maximum size of 1 MB.

• Ensure that the uploaded photograph and signature are clear and identifiable, with a white/blue background for the photograph.
• Sign on white paper using a black pen in running handwriting. The signature should be done by the applicant and not by anyone else.
• After completing the online application, take a printout of the submitted application form and retain it, along with the relevant uploaded documents, for future reference during the recruitment process.
• This is the only valid procedure for applying, and no other mode of application or incomplete steps will be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
