• A combination of any sub stream of Basic streams of Civil Engineering.

STA (Electrical):

• 04 years of Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering OR
• A combination of any sub-stream of Basic streams of Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering.

STA (Signal & Telecom):

• 04 years of Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering or M.Sc. Electronics OR

Northern Railway STA Selection Process 2023

• Selection Criteria for Senior Technical Associate:
• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the ‘GATE score’ obtained in any one of the GATE examinations conducted in the preceding 5 years (2019 to 2023).
• The shortlisting will be done in a 1:1 ratio to the number of vacancies in the Senior Technical Associate (Civil/Electrical/Signal & Telecom) category.
• The specific time period after which the actual GATE score is taken will be considered.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
• For Senior Technical Associates (Civil/Electrical/Signal & Telecom), candidates need to obtain the following minimum qualifying marks in their prescribed educational qualification:
