• DEPUTY DIRECTOR (MEDICAL)
• Educational Qualifications
  • ESSENTIAL:
  • A recognized Postgraduate Medical qualification approved under the Indian Medical Council Act-1956.
  • DESIRABLE:
  • Some Training in medical education technology and/or knowledge in the modern evaluation techniques including generation of MCQs, MEQs analysis of performance of candidates, etc.
• LAW OFFICER
• Educational Qualifications
  • ESSENTIAL:
  • Graduate with LLB with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • At least 3 years’ standing in the profession after registration with Bar Council of India.
  • DESIRABLE:
  • Experience of handling legal matters in Government/PSU/Autonomous/Statutory Bodies.
• JUNIOR PROGRAMMER
• Educational Qualifications
  • ESSENTIAL:
  • B.Tech./BE/BCA/DOEACC (‘B’ or ‘C’ level)/ Degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics with specialization in computers or equivalent.

  • Bachelor Degree with Math’s or Statistics or a Degree in Commerce from a recognized University.

  • Three Years’ experience in dealing with Accounts in some Govt. Institutions, etc with knowledge of computer-based accounting.
• STENOGRAPHER
• Educational Qualifications
  • ESSENTIAL:
  • Senior Secondary (12th of 10+2)
  • OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Stenographic skill 80/30 W.P.M in Shorthand/Typing
  • Candidates will be required to appear and qualify in the test in General English/Shorthand & typewriting to be conducted by the Board.
  • DESIRABLE:
  • Two years’ experience as Steno in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body and ability of work processing on Computer.
• JUNIOR ASSISTANT
• Educational Qualifications
  • ESSENTIAL:
  • Passed Senior Secondary Examination from a recognised Board/University recognised by Central/State Govt./UT Administration/Educational Authority.
  • Proficiency in use of Computers and Basic Software packages such as Windows/Network operating System, working in LAN architecture.
  • To qualify Examination as may be prescribed by NBEMS.

NBEMS Recruitment 2023 Selection Procedure

For the posts of Deputy Director (Medical), Law Officer, and Junior Programmer, the scheme and syllabus of the examination will be intimated shortly on the NBEMS Website.

For the posts of JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT, STENOGRAPHER, and JUNIOR ASSISTANT, there will be two stages of examination:

Stage I – Computer Based Test (CBT):

• Total Questions: 200
• Maximum Marks: 200
• Duration: 180 Minutes (Three hours)
• Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM, 50% for others.

Stage II – Computer Knowledge/Skill Test:

• Marks: 100
• Duration: 75 minutes
• Candidates Called: Five candidates against every vacancy in each category based on merit from CBT (Stage-I).
• Minimum Marks: 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM, 50% for other candidates.

NBEMS Syllabus for Written Examination (Stage-I)

• The question paper will be in both English and Hindi languages.
• Candidates must appear in both stages of Examinations.
• The NBEMS Selection Committee has discretion to set minimum qualifying marks for CBT (Stage-I) and Computer Knowledge/Skill Test (Stage-II). Their decision is final.

Please note that no interviews will be held for Group B and C posts for selection.

Steps to Fill NBEMS Recruitment 2023 Application Form

Candidates applying for these positions are required to apply online exclusively through the official website www.natboard.edu.in. No other modes of application will be accepted.

Before filling out the online application, it’s important to prepare scanned images of certain documents: a recent colored photograph (maximum 80KB in JPG/JPEG format) and your signature (maximum 50KB in JPG/JPEG format). These documents will be needed for uploading during the application process. Additionally, you must have a valid email address and mobile number as they are mandatory for application submission. Please ensure that these remain active until the results are declared.

Once you submit your online application, the details you provide, including your name, post applied for, caste, category, date of birth, address, email ID, and mobile number, will be considered final. Any changes or edits to these details will not be allowed after submission.

Applications received without the appropriate application fee, necessary documents, and information as per the recruitment notification/advertisement may be rejected. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) reserves the right to cancel or add examination cities/centers based on various factors.

Important Steps to Fill the Online Application:

• Start by visiting the NBEMS website at www.natboard.edu.in.
• Click on the “Vacancy” link.
• Review the vacancy notification/advertisement thoroughly to understand eligibility and age criteria.
• Begin the registration process, during which basic details will be filled out. After registration, you’ll receive a login ID and password on your registered mobile number, so keep them safe.
• Proceed to fill out the application form, providing your age, personal details, educational qualifications, etc. You can complete this in one go or save your progress and return later.
• Upload scanned copies of a recent colored photograph (less than 80KB) and your signature (less than 50KB).
• Note that examinations for all the posts may be conducted simultaneously. While completing the form allows provisional participation, eligibility will be scrutinized later. If any provided information is found false, fake, misinterpreted, or incorrect, your candidature may be canceled, even after appearing in the examination.

Important Points Regarding Payment of Application/Processing Fee:

• Payment can be made online using ATM cum Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI.
• After logging in to your application form using your login ID and password, click on the “MAKE PAYMENT” button to complete the payment.
• Bank charges, as per bank norms, will be in addition to the application/processing fee and should be borne by the candidates.
• Please note that once paid, the application/processing fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred or reserved for future selection processes.
• Payment via Demand Drafts, Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Pay Orders, Banker’s Cheques, postal stamps, etc., will NOT be accepted for the application fee.
