• Marketing Officer (Scale-I):

• Graduate and Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time PGDBA/ PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing.

Note 1: For posts other than IT Officer Scale I: Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the High School/ College/ Institute subjects.

Note 2: All the educational qualifications mentioned in the application should be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India or approved by Government Regulatory Bodies, and the final result should have been declared on or before 21st August 2023.

IBPS SO 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern

For the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari:

For the post of IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer:

• Candidates need to qualify in each of the three tests (sections) of the preliminary exam.
• The minimum cut-off marks for each test will be decided by IBPS.
• Shortlisting for the Online Main Examination will be based on an adequate number of candidates in each category as determined by IBPS, depending on the requirements.

For the post of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer:

For the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari:

• Note: Penalty for wrong answers: For both the Online Preliminary and Online Main Examinations, there will be a penalty for wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
• Penalty amount: For each question with a wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
• No penalty for unanswered questions: If a candidate leaves a question blank, i.e., no answer is marked, there will be no penalty for that particular question.

• Click on the “NEW REGISTRATION” button located at the top-right corner of the home page.

• Provide your basic details such as name, contact number, email ID, and address. Click on the “Save and Next” button.
• Upload a passport-sized photograph and a clear signature in the specified format. The photograph should be between 20 KB and 50 KB, and the signature should be between 10 KB and 20 KB. Both must be of passport size and legible.
• Enter your academic and professional qualifications. Click on the “Save and Next” button after filling in the details.
• Preview your application form to ensure accuracy, as no further changes will be allowed. Click on the “Save and Next” button after reviewing your application form.
• Pay the application fee using the Online Payment Option, which includes Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
• Click on the “Final Submit” button to successfully submit your application form. IBPS will send you an email and text message with your registration ID and password for future login on the official website.
