Education Qualification
- For Head Constable (Veterinary)
- 12th Class from a recognized Board.
- Minimum one year course in Veterinary Stock Assistant from a recognized Institution.
- At least one year post-qualification experience.
- For Constable (Kennelman)
- 10th Class from a recognized Board.
- Two years of experience in handling of animals from Government Veterinary hospitals, dispensaries, Veterinary College or Government Animals Farm.
Age Limit
- Age limit: 18 to 25 years.

- Relaxation in upper age limit is available for different categories and Central Government servants as per instructions/orders issued by the Central Government.
