Airforce Sports Quota Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification

Science Subjects:

• Eligibility: Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English.
• Minimum Marks: 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• Alternative Qualifications:
• 3-year Diploma in various Engineering fields with similar marks criteria.
• 2-year Vocational course with Physics and Mathematics.

Other than Science Subjects:

• Eligibility: Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in any stream/subjects.
• Minimum Marks: 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• Alternative Qualification: 2-year vocational course from COBSE member Education Boards with the same marks criteria.

Airforce Sports Quota Recruitment 2023 PFT Details

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

• Includes a 1.6 Km run to be completed within seven minutes.
• Additional requirements: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats.
• Specific time limits for each exercise.
• Push-up test conducted after a 10-minute break following the run.
• Sit-up test conducted after a 2-minute break following push-ups.
• Squat test conducted after a 2-minute break following sit-ups.
• Candidates should bring sports shoes and appropriate attire.
• Detailed technique guidance for push-ups, sit-ups, and squats is available on the CASB Web Portal at https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Sports Skill Trials:

• Only candidates who pass the PFT will proceed to sports skill trials.
• The venues for sports skill trials will be determined by AFSCB in Delhi-NCR.
