UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a fresh notification inviting applications for the recruitment of 577 posts including Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners (APFC) & Enforcement Officers (EO)/Accounts Officers (AO) in the Employee’s Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), which is a part of the Ministry of Labour and Employment. online application process for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2023 has commenced from February 25, 2023. Education Qualification, Age Limit & Pay Scale Details

For the post of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer

• Pay Scale: Level-08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
• Age Limit: 18-30 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute
• Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC, for candidates who are otherwise well-qualified
• Duties include enforcement, recovery, accounts, administration, cash, legal, pension, and computer work

For the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner

• Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
• Age limit: 18-35 years
• Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or Equivalent
• Desirable Qualification: Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration
• Duties: Look after the work of Enforcement, Recovery, Accounts, Administration, Cash, Legal, Pension and Computer which includes the statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry, settlement of claims, General Administration, maintenance of Cash Book/ Reconciliation of Bank Statements, MIS returns etc.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment Test Scheme & Syllabus 2023

Scheme and syllabus of the Recruitment Test (RT) for the post Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officer:-

(a) Scheme:

1. The test will be of two hours duration
2. All questions will carry equal marks.
3. The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.
4. The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.
5. There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

(b) Syllabus:

1. General English- To evaluate candidate’s understanding of English language & workman-like use of words.
2. Indian Freedom Struggle.
3. Current Events and Developmental Issues.
4. Indian Polity & Economy.
5. General Accounting Principles.
6. Industrial Relations & Labour Laws.
7. General Science & knowledge of Computer applications.
8. General Mental Ability & Quantitative Aptitude.
9. Social Security in India.

(c) Weightage:

1. Weightage in the ratio of 75:25 will be accorded for marks in Recruitment Test and for marks in Interview for determining the final merit in the instant recruitment case.

Candidates can apply for the UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2023 by following the below given steps:-

1. Read the official UPSC EPFO Notification 2023 carefully.
2. click on the “Apply Online” button from link given below.
3. Fill in the required details in Part-I of the application form and submit.
4. After submission, a unique registration ID will be generated.
5. Use the registration ID to complete Part-II of the application form, including payment of the application fee.
6. Upload scanned copies of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
