SSC CHSL 2022: Age Limit (as on 01/01/2022)

  • Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 01-01-2022 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004 are eligible to apply.
  • Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

Tier-II paper will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in ‘Pen and Paper’ mode.The duration of the descriptive paper will be of one hour.The paper will consist of an essay of 200-250 words and a letter/application of approximately 150 – 200 words.The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II will be 33 percent.The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.Zero marks will be awarded for the paper for the part written in Hindi and for the part written in English.
Tier-III (Skill Test/ Typing Test): SSC CHSL 2022-23 Notification
Skill Test for Data Entry Operator
Data entry speed of 8000 KDPH on computer.The duration of the test will be of 15 minutes.Printed matter in English containing approximately 2000 – 2200 key-depressions.For the post of DEO Grade-A in the Office of the C&AG :15000 KDPH speed on computer.The duration of the test will be of 15 minutes.Printed matter in English containing about 3700-4000 key depressions.
Typing Test for LDC / JSA and Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:
The medium of typing test will be Hindi or English.Candidates will have to select the medium of typing test (i.e. Hindi or English) in the online application form.Must have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English medium and 30 words per minute for Hindi medium.

  3. Select the region for which you have applied.
  4. Enter your Registration ID/Roll Number/Name and Date of Birth.
  5. Click on the “Search” button.
  6. The SSC CHSL Tier-1 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
  7. Download and take a printout of the admit card for future reference.
