- Computer Based Test (CBT)

OIL India Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern
- Eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement/notification on the crucial date will be considered for calling candidates for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The selection process will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) in multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format.
- Qualifying marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates will be minimum 40% and for others minimum 50%.
- Candidates will be called for CBT on the basis of their declaration in the completed online application form.
- There will be no negative marking in the CBT.
- The CBT will be bilingual in English and Assamese.
- The total duration of the CBT will be 2 hours.
- Eligible PwBD candidates will be given compensatory time in addition to the duration of the CBT.
- In case of a tie in CBT marks, preference will be given to the candidate who obtains more marks in Part-C, and if the marks in Part-C are also same, then the candidate who obtains more marks in Part-B will be given preference. If the marks in Part-B are also same, then the candidate older in age will be given preference in the final merit list.
- Final selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the CBT only.
