NIC Recruitment 2023: National Informatics Centre (NIC), The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Scientist B, Scientific Officer/Engineer SB, and Scientific/Technical Assistant A for the year 2023. NIC Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern
For Scientist ‘B’ and Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB posts written examination for these posts will be conducted in online mode and will consist of 120 multiple choice questions to be answered in a maximum time of 3 hours. The question paper will have 65% technical area questions and 35% generic area questions.
Each question will carry one mark, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
The minimum percentage to qualify the written examination is 50% for General/EWS, 40% for OBC, and 30% for SC/ST/PWD categories.
For Scientific/Technical Assistant- A Post the selection process includes only the written examination.
