EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has released official notification for recruitment of 2859 Vacancies of Social Security Assistants (SSA) and Stenographers. Interested candidates can apply online for the EPFO SSA Recruitment Starting from March 27, 2023 on official website www.epfindia.gov.in. • For SC/ST/PWBD/Female: Nil
• For all Other Categories: Rs. 700/-

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification

• Social Security Assistant (SSA): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer
• Stenographer: 12th class pass from a recognized Board and Skill Test norms: Dictation- Ten minutes at the rate of eighty words per minute, Transcription- Fifty minutes (English) or Sixty-five minutes (Hindi) (Only on computer)

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Age Limit

Between 18 to 27 years as on Closing Date of Online Application form with Age relaxation as
applicable.

Age Relaxation Details:

• SC/ST: Up to 5 years
• OBC-NCL: Up to 3 years
• General: Up to 40 years of age
• SC/ST: Up to 45 years of age
• OBC-NCL: Up to 43 years of age
• Government servants: Up to 40 years of age (in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)

Ex-Servicemen:

• Ex-SM+ General: 3 years
• Ex-SM+OBC-NCL: 6 years (3 years + 3 years)
• Ex-SM+SC/ST: 8 years (3 years + 5 years)
• An ex-serviceman can deduct the period of actual military service from his/her actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years after the above relaxations, he/she shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.

Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD):

• PwBD + General: 10 years
• PwBD + OBC-NCL: 13 years
• PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Scale of Pay

• Social Security Assistant (SSA): Level-5 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 29,200-92,300)
• Stenographer: Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500-81,100)

EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

The selection process for the EPFO SSA Recruitment 2023 includes the multiple stages.

• Computer-Based Test (Phase-I)
• Skill test (Phase-II)
• Computer Data Entry Test

EPFO SSA Exam Pattern 2023

• EPFO SSA 2023 prelims examination comprises 150 questions for 4 marks each.
• The total time duration prelim exam is 2 hour 30 minutes (150 Minutes).
• There will be a negative marking of 1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.

EPFO SSA Skill Test 2023

• EPFO SSA Skill test is qualifying in nature, and the marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for the merit list.
• Candidates qualified in the CBT examination will be called for the skill test.
• The skill test evaluates the accuracy and speed of the candidate in data entry work.
• Typing speed required is 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.
• 35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) and 9000 KDPH, respectively, with an average of 5 key depressions for each word in Data Entry Work.

EPFO Stenographer Exam Pattern 2023

• The question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only.
• The questions will be set both in English and Hindi, except for part-III, which is English Language and Comprehension.
• There shall be a negative marking of one-fourth marks for each incorrect answer.
• Each correct answer carries 4 marks.

EPFO Steno Skill Test 2023

• Dictation: 10 minutes at the rate of 80 words per minute. (Dictation will be computer based)
• Transcription: Fifty minutes (English) / Sixty-five minutes (Hindi). (Only on the computer)
