CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification

• Must have completed Matriculation or equivalent level of education from a recognized board.
• If educational qualification is from a board other than State/Central Board, must provide Government of India notification declaring it equivalent to Matriculation/10th class pass for service under Central Government.

Driving Licence :

• Must have a valid driving licence in the following types of vehicles:
  • Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle (HMV/TV)
  • Light Motor Vehicle
  • Motor cycle with gear

Experience :

• Must have 03 years of experience in driving Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicles and Motor Cycle.
• The experience for above driving shall be calculated from the date of issuance of the respective licences.
• The cut-off date for the experience requirement is the closing date of receipt of application i.e. February 22, 2023.

CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2023 Age Limit & Age Relaxation Details

• Between 21 to 27 years as of the closing date for receipt of online application (February 22, 2023) including for candidates from North East region.
• Upper age limit is relaxable for Government Servants including serving CISF personnel in the rank of Constable (GD), Constable (Fire) and Constable (Tradesmen):
  • 40 years for General and OBC candidates who have completed 3 years of continuous service, completed probation period satisfactorily, and have minimum annual grading of above “Average” during their entire service
  • 45 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates who have completed 3 years of continuous service, completed probation period satisfactorily, and have minimum annual grading of above “Average” during their entire service
• Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for Children and Dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat.
• Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per government orders. Note:
• This advertisement pertains to recruitment of Constable/Driver & Constable/DCPO for male candidates, therefore, only male children and male dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat will be considered.
• In order to be eligible for upper age relaxation in this category, the applicant should produce a certificate to that effect from the concerned District Collector/District Magistrate where the victim was killed
