General Intelligence & Reasoning: Questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
  2. Numeric Aptitude: Questions on numbers, decimals, fractions, HCF, LCM, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
  3. General Awareness: Questions on current events, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general policy & scientific research.
  4. English Language & Comprehension: Questions on grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage.
  5. Technical Syllabus: Questions on the technical aspects of the Ordnance Corps and related fields such as logistics, maintenance, repair, and inventory management.

Army Ordnance Corps Selection Process

  1. Written Examination: The written examination is the first stage of the recruitment process and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
  2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is the next stage of the recruitment process and includes a 1.6 Km run, pull-ups, and 9-feet ditch.
  3. Medical Examination: After passing the PFT, candidates will have to undergo a medical examination to check their physical fitness and suitability for the post.
  4. Document Verification: After passing the medical examination, candidates will have to verify their documents such as educational certificates, birth certificate, and identity proof.
  5. Merit List: The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination and PFT. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates.
